17 laptop computers and cash stolen from a well known business in Troy

TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) - 17 laptop computers as well as some cash and payroll checks have been stolen from the Lifestyle Lift headquarters in Troy. 

Police says there was no sign of forced entry but that offices, desks and closets were broken into. Officials say the laptops were new and still in boxes.

Police in Troy says the thieves were able to get away with more than $35,000. 

Police are questioning both current and former employees. They say whoever is responsible knew how to get in and where what they wanted was stored.
