‘Ransackers’ sought out in home burglary

Parker County —
Parker County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating a burglary of habitation call that came in Friday.
Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said the incident was reported during daylight hours in the 300 block of Brown Creek Road in Weatherford.
The occupant of a residence on Mineral Wells Highway arrived home and told deputies the suspects “ransacked” the home and stole numerous personal items including two televisions, a Wii, an XBOX, a PlayStation, three laptop computers, a desktop computer, a wedding band set, a college ring, miscellaneous jewelry and jewelry boxes, a digital camera along with women’s clothing and shoes.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, the occupant also reported the suspects burglarized her storage building, taking bills and receipts.
Investigators said it appears the suspects gained entry through the garage door of the home and forcefully kicked in the door leading to the residence, damaging the door frame.
This is the Parker County Crime Stoppers crime of the week. Anyone with information about this crime is encouraged to call the Parker County Sheriff’s Office at 817-594-8845 or the Parker County Crime Stoppers Hotline at 817-599-5555. Informants may remain anonymous. Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and indictment of the suspects involved.
