SPOKANE VALLEY -- A popular Spokane Valley church was the target of burglars desperate for tens of thousands of dollars worth of electronics.Sometime after 10:45 Tuesday night, Dave Noll, Pastor of the Redeemer Lutheran Church said thieves broke into the church and stole flat screen tv's, projectors, computers, cables and an espresso machine."There must be some hurting people out there," said Dave Noll, Pastor of the church.Noll said the thieves also got away with hearing impaired equipment, microphones and a sound board used for Sunday service."We haven't had a burglary of this magnitude since I've been here," said Noll.Spokane Valley police believe the thieves loaded the stolen goods into several large garbage cans and then took off in a car or truck.Police said there was no sign of forced entry which has led investigators to believe the thieve(s) hid in the building until everyone was gone.Even though the thieves got away with tens of thousands of dollars worth of electronics Noll has faith in forgiveness."The church isn't the equipment or the pews or the building it's the people," said Noll.Noll is now preparing to incorporate Tuesday's burglary into his Sunday service message, one the invites the thieves to hear."Come back on Sunday morning 8, 9:30 and 10:45 am, we'll be here and there's forgiveness," Noll said.If you have any information about the burglary call Crime Check at 456-2233.
