Richmond Police are investigating after someone broke into Roberto's Auto Repair last week.
The owner told police the thief or thieves broke a front window of the business either late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. Among the items reported missing were two computers, a welding tool, a battery charger and keys to several vehicles on the property. Police say a blue 2000 Honda Passport was also stolen from outside the building.
Several items were also taken from a customer's car that was parked on the property, police said. The stolen goods included a digital camera and several accessories.
Richmond Police said they later found the stolen SUV near the Richmond Fire Training Center and Madison Central High School. A number of stolen items were recovered at the scene, officers said.
Police said the estimated loss in the burglary was $1805.00.
