Boise man arrested after stealing over $5000 in computers and equipment from his employer

Tuesday, Boise Police received a report of stolen computer equipment from a business on the 700 block of East Park Blvd.

Employees tell police that six computers and accessories were taken some time over the last few months. The missing items, valued at more than $5,000.00, were discovered missing during a recent inventory.

After a detailed investigation, officers obtained evidence that an employee had taken the items and had been selling them. Scott J. Hodges, 40 of Boise, was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with Felony Grand Theft.
